For me, it was all of the above before I’d had enough, and took some action. I can share with you now, that feeling CAN become a memory. Your experience of life can change, and all you need are some tools to help you see things differently.
After leaving corporate America, I had two children and two serious illnesses within two years. Coming out of those left me feeling exhausted. Unfulfilled. Discontent, and frankly, miserable. Despite being able to recognize that in reality, things were pretty good in my life, I woke every day thinking “I can’t do this again”.
I had my health back, and the types of things other people dream of. Husband, home, children, career… logically, my misery was not something I could justify. The issue then, was that I had no idea what to do to make it different. The next few years were both challenging and rewarding. I began taking classes and reading, absorbing and applying hundreds of different techniques and theories, learning and developing my personal tools for happiness.
